Integrity is the feature, in both senses.

Locke Werks is a two-person studio building tools and experiences at the intersection of security, competition, and craft. From puzzle games with tournament-grade leaderboards to cryptographic evidence platforms to trackers that refuse to guess, we engineer software where integrity is the feature, in both the cryptographic and the ordinary sense.

Systems that have to hold

Archon builds the machinery underneath the machinery: secure systems, developer tools, infrastructure, and the connective tissue that lets software interact with the real world without falling apart.

His work ranges from cybersecurity tooling and supply-chain scanners to MCP servers that give AI assistants real capabilities, tiny native Windows applications measured in kilobytes, and experiments built simply to find out where a system breaks. He is at his best where the problem is sharp, technical, and inconvenient.

The through-line is trust. He reduces complicated problems until the important part becomes visible, builds the smallest thing that solves them correctly, and treats security, integrity, and reliability as architecture rather than cleanup. Most of what he ships began with the same realization: this should exist, it doesn’t, and he knows how to make it real.

Software for life as it’s actually lived

Nyx builds software around the parts of human life that become complicated long before anyone thinks to design a tool for them: raising children, sharing care between households, remembering a life, understanding a body, keeping track of relationships, and carrying personal history forward.

Her projects often begin with a gap hiding inside an ordinary day — a baby tracker that has to work one-handed at four in the morning, a co-parenting system designed around the child instead of the adults, or a media record that remembers not only what you watched, but who was beside you when you did.

The through-line is agency. Her systems distinguish “this did not happen” from “we do not know,” refuse to manufacture certainty, and are designed so the person using them remains the owner of their information. Most of what she ships begins with the same realization: people are already living this problem, and they deserve software that understands it.
